Clerk-Treasurer
The City Treasurer is the finance officer for the City. She maintains the accounting records of the City, audits and certifies the expenditures of the City funds by appropriation, is custodian of all public funds, prepares the City budget and annual financial report, and prepares other financial reports as required.
As Clerk of the City, she maintains the records of the Board of Public Works & Safety and Common Council, including the minutes, contract files, ordinances and resolutions and the City Code Ordinances and Resolutions that require Common Council approval. She administers oaths and maintains custody of the City Seal.
The Clerk-Treasurer's Office also handles the following services:
- City Sewage and trash bill payments
- Request for sewage service
- Sewage Billing inquiries
- Sewage tap in permits and fees
- Fees for selling permits, street cuts permits, tree cut permits, sewage affidavits and dogs fines
- Copies of all of the City's public records are available upon request
The Sewage Billing Department offers a debit payment plan. Your sewage bill may be paid by direct bank withdrawal. Forms are available in the City Building. There is drop box inside City Hall located in the Police Department. A drive through window is on the North side of City Hall, located in the alley.
Online Bill Pay is now available for the Sewage and Refuse Utility Bills. Log onto http://www.drfrey.biz/11086/CustQuery.html to pay your bill. Each customer is assigned an individual pin number, which is available in the Clerk-Treasurer's Office. You may obtain your pin by calling 765-584-8805 from 8 am to 5 pm and supplying your account number. Each customer must pay at least three days before the due date for the payment to be considered on time. For Book Number, Account Number and Pin Number please contanct the Sewage Utility Billing Office at 765-584-8805.
